Frequently Asked Questions
Will insurance cover my visit?
Insurance coverage can vary widely depending on your specific plan and provider. As a small office, we are unfortunately unable to verify individual insurance benefits or determine what will or won't be covered. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly before your visit to confirm your coverage, co-pays, and any potential out-of-pocket costs.
Can I use my Medicare supplemental insurance for my visit?
Our office has officially opted out of Medicare, which means we are not able to bill Medicare or any Medicare supplemental insurance plans. All appointments in our office are considered self-pay and will be billed directly to the patient at the time of service. We’re happy to provide a receipt for your records, but reimbursement through Medicare or supplemental plans will not be possible.
Will my insurance cover lab testing done in office?
All lab work from our office is sent to Quest Diagnostics for processing. Because insurance coverage depends on your specific plan and provider, we cannot determine what will be covered. However, we’re happy to provide a list of CPT codes related to your lab work, which you can use to contact your insurance company directly and confirm your benefits. If you'd prefer not to bill through insurance, we also offer a self-pay option with transparent pricing.
